Network for Economic Education plans to organize the following workshop:

ECONOMIC EDUCATION WORKSHIP FOR INTERESTED TEACHERS

WHAT IS “NETWORK FOR ECONOMIC EDUCATION”?

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Network for Economic Education is to improve economic education at schools by sharing necessary information through a soft network of various individuals and organizations engaging in economic education, and by creating a “place” for interaction and cooperation to offer one-stop services for economic education in Japan.

ACTIVITIES:

The Network for Economic Education intends to organize the following activities:

1) Provision of information and materials on economic education, including on-line activities.
2) Various kinds of economic education activities, including training programs for school teachers and workshops for teachers, students and parents.
3) Other activities necessary to achieve the purpose of the Network.

MEMBERSHIP:

The membership consists of the following two kinds:

1) “Regular membership” for those individuals, corporations or other organizations that are recommended by at least one member and approved by the board meeting.
2) “Corporate membership” for those contributing organizations or corporations approved by the board meeting, and also for those organizations, corporations or individuals whose membership is approved by the general meeting for their special contribution to the Network.
